Actually, the Chinese President has given this strict statement in view of the continuously emerging cases of corruption in China. The Chinese government claims that it is running a special campaign against corrupt officials of the Communist Party and the army.
However, the claim of the Chinese government appears to be just the opposite on the ground. Because on one hand the Chinese government is claiming to be strict against the corrupt and on the other hand the figures are showing that there has been an increase in corruption cases this year as compared to last year.
Action against more than 10 lakh people
According to the report of Hong Kong’s media house South China Morning Post, China has taken action against more than 10 lakh officials and party workers since 2012. It also includes two defense ministers and dozens of military officers. But even after this the cases of corruption are not decreasing.
Cases increased compared to last year
According to the report, the Chinese government had started a corruption investigation against 45 high-ranking officials last year. Instead of learning a lesson from this, the cases of corruption of Chinese officials have increased further. This year this number has increased to 54.
‘Show no mercy in taking action’
Jinping is continuously making efforts to reduce the cases of corruption. He has asked officials and party workers to openly expose corruption cases. If criticism is avoided and mistakes are hidden then the problem will increase further. In an important meeting, Jinping has said that no mercy should be shown in taking action against the corrupt.

Admiral was suspended
