An incident that puts humanity to shame has come to light from Surat city of Gujarat. A 60 year old woman from a family living in Matrishakti Society beat her 80 year old mother-in-law with kicks and punches. The video of this incident is going viral on social media.
In the viral video, it can be seen that an 80 year old woman is sitting near her bed. Suddenly his 60 year old daughter-in-law comes and kicks him away. After this the woman slaps her elderly mother-in-law. Then she starts kicking. The daughter-in-law pulls her mother-in-law by the hand and slaps her. Watching this 40 second video can shock anyone’s heart.

Someone sent this video to women associated with a social organization. After this, women associated with the social organization reached the spot along with the police and inquired about the condition of the elderly woman. Workers associated with social organizations and representatives of old age homes were also present there. He told the family members of the elderly woman to send her to an old age home if they cannot take care of her.
The daughter-in-law of the elderly woman was interrogated in front of the police, but she could not give any clear answer regarding the video. However, the daughter-in-law started taking care of the elderly woman in front of the police and social workers on the spot.
Activists of the social organization told that this incident is condemnable. Our demand is that the elderly woman should get justice. If this family is facing problems in taking care of the elderly woman, then she should be sent to an old age home. An elderly woman should not have to endure such harassment.
