According to the police, there are 36 criminal cases against the accused Jaydev alias Dev, including serious crimes like robbery and murder. His crimes were registered in Shahganj, Etmaduddaula and Achnera police stations in Agra.

To avoid the grip, Jaydev declared himself dead on paper to appear in the court and avoid further investigation.
