Bangladesh is currently burning in communal fire. Hindus are being attacked continuously. In such a situation, a big statement has come from America, in which it has been said that the Biden government has not paid much attention to Bangladesh. But now Trump is returning to the White House.

Former Commissioner of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) Johnny Moore has said that the Biden government of America has not paid much attention to Bangladesh. This time is like a threat not only to the minorities of Bangladesh but to the existence of the entire country. But Trump is coming now.

He said that but Donald Trump is going to take office with his best team. His team is an advocate of American values and sees India as an ally.

Moore said that I am surprised that the current American government does not pay much attention to Bangladesh. But the fact is that the government is going to change in America, which will have an unmatched foreign policy. But I can say that Trump is returning to the White House and his team full of American values will work for a better future. This Trump team sees India as an important ally. At present there are more than 50 wars going on around the world.

Actually, Moore was asked about America’s stance amid violence against minorities in Bangladesh? He was asked that in such a situation, what will the Trump government do differently compared to the Biden government? On this he said that there is no such challenge in the world which cannot be solved.

He said that I assure you that religious freedom was the top priority among human rights during Trump’s first term. In many ways it was the center of our foreign policy. This time too you will get to see something similar. You will get to see such cooperation between America and India, which was not seen till now.

Let us tell you that Hindu religious leader Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested on 25 November on charges of treason. Bangladesh court did not grant him bail and sent him to jail. After this, Chinmoy Das’s supporters came out on the streets and started violent protests.

The Indian Foreign Ministry also issued a statement expressing deep concern over the arrest of Chinmay Krishna Das in Bangladesh and not granting him bail. This matter has come to light amidst the continuous targeting of Hindus and other minorities by extremist elements in Bangladesh. There have been many cases of arson and looting of minority homes and business establishments as well as theft and vandalism and desecration of Hindu temples.
