The matter is of a village in Girvan police station area. The father of the victim, who lives here, had told in the complaint given to the police on January 15, 2021 that a person from the village had lured his 7-year-old daughter to a deserted place in the name of getting toffee and chocolate. Where he committed the rape. After this, the police registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation.

After this, the charge sheet was filed in the court on 14 March 2021. During this period 7 witnesses were presented. After examining all the evidence and the arguments of both the parties, the fast track court today (6 January) after 4 years, convicted the accused Kallu Rajput and sentenced him to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Also imposed a fine of Rs 25 thousand. Prosecution officer Sunil Kumar has confirmed the case.
