In her post, Zeenat described how an ordinary evening turned alarming after her blood pressure pill became lodged in her throat. “I popped the pill into my mouth, took a sip of water, and then felt my breath catch,” she wrote, detailing the discomfort and panic that followed as she struggled to breathe properly. Alone at home with her dog and five cats, she called her son Zahaan Khan, who rushed over to assist her.
Zeenat Aman Shares A Lesson in Patience
While waiting for Zahaan to arrive, Zeenat grappled with mounting discomfort. She shared how the experience taught her a lesson in patience. “There’s no dramatic ending to this story. Zahaan landed up, we finally got through to the doctor who said it would dissolve in time. I spent the next few hours sipping warm water and waiting,” she explained.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Zeenat offered her followers a heartfelt takeaway. “There will always be difficult times in one’s life that demand less action and more patience. Sometimes it’s important to tackle an issue head-on. But sometimes, a situation requires those softer acts of patience, restraint, and equanimity.”
